The holiday season brought out the very best of our community at Shaker Pointe at Carondelet. Thanks to the generosity of our residents, a total of $3,350 was raised in cash, checks, and gift cards for Unity House, alongside an outpouring of donated toys and clothing for children and families in need. These contributions reflect not only holiday cheer, but a deep, ongoing commitment to caring for our neighbors throughout the Capital Region.

On Monday, December 8, Unity House CEO Dave Bach and Assistant Director of Development and Communications Moira Geracitano visited Shaker Pointe to personally collect the donations and share his appreciation. It was a meaningful moment for residents to see firsthand the impact of their collective kindness. We are incredibly proud of our community for turning compassion into action and helping to make the season brighter for so many families.
