As Director of Sales at Shaker Pointe, Lorrie Shilling guides future residents through every step of their move, building meaningful relationships and helping each person envision how the community can enhance their lifestyle. She focuses on understanding individual needs and ensuring a smooth, supportive transition into senior living.
Lorrie brings a B.S. in Marketing and 20 years of experience in senior living sales and marketing, with a strong background in relationship-based sales, strategic outreach, and community engagement. She is also a graduate of Leadership Saratoga (Class of 2015), which deepened her commitment to local collaboration and service.
Since joining Shaker Pointe in December 2023, Lorrie has helped welcome numerous new residents, contributing to the community’s high occupancy rate and ongoing growth. She takes pride in supporting the mission founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet and ensuring residents feel at home from day one.
A Capital Region native, Lorrie enjoys spending time with her family, including her two grown sons and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She also loves camping, traveling, and creating pottery at Waterbrook Pottery Studio in Watervliet, where she enjoys learning and connecting with a vibrant community of artists.
